The Republic of Tasnica is a Quest in Secret of Mana (SOM).
Description[edit]
According to Jehk, Joch has left for the Republic of Tasnica. The party heads to the west of the Lofty Mountains in search of him.
Walkthrough[edit]
- Step out of Jekh's cave and summon Flammie.
- Travel to the West and follow the peninsula to the Southwest.
- Land there to reach the Republic of Tasnica.
- Go into the castle in front of you.
- There, you will find Gemma who tells you about a spy being in the castle who is after the Chancellor.
- Go over to the right and through the door there.
- Head North across the walkway, going past the guard and back into the castle.
- Go to the North and then head over to the left, going down the stairs.
- Enter the nearby door to the right of the stairs to continue forward.
- Continue forward and through the doors in front of you.
- This will lead you into the Chancellor's room.
- Go up to him and talk with him.
- You will be accused of being a spy, but then this the Chancellor will reveal himself to be a Dark Stalker.
- Immediately start attacking this Ninja-like foe with your weapons.
- Attack the ninja as you best can with your magic.
- Have Primm use Lucent Beam and have her cast Light Saber on the team.
- The Dark Stalker is weak to Lumina, so it will take a lot of damage quickly.
- Be careful of any chests it drops because they can hit the one who opens it with a Reaper, killing them instantly.
- With the fight over, talk with the real Chancellor.
- A short conversation later, talk with both Gemma and the Chancellor.
- The Chancellor will reward the party with a sword orb.
