"Desolate Ruins" is the name of a quest in Skyforge.
It immediately follows the quest, Distress Signal.
Takes place at some Desolate Ruins.

Background[edit]
The protagonist and the other solders were killed during a mission to Iannor.
But as the Vird are getting rid of the bodies near the Ruins, the player awakens. He is not dead!

How to start quest[edit]
This quest starts automatically after the defeating the Vird Leader at the farm in Iannor.
Quest Objectives[edit]
- Find a way out of the ruins.
- Eliminate the the Reaper of Death.
Walkthrough[edit]
After the cutscene, had east in the corridor. Kill any Virds you encounter on the way and pick up the loot.
When you arrive at a big chamber, turn right and go down some stairs.
Arrive at another big room with a lot of Virds and the Reaper of Death. There will be a cinematic sequence here.
After the cineatics end, fight the the Reaper of Death. He is a boss and has a lot of health. He will also summon more Vird. Deal with them first since they are weak.
When you get the Reaper of Death's health low enough, there is another cutscene and he escapes to a different room. Chase him and continue fighting him there, until you kill him. This will complete the quest.

Reaper of Death: It seems we have guests. Kill him!
Reaper of Death: You will pay for that!
