“Alduin's Wall” is the tenth Main Story Quest in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
You get “Alduin's Wall” after completing the quest “A Cornered Rat”.

Beginning immediately after you complete A Cornered Rat, Esbern just has some thing to collect and then it is time to start escorting him to Riverwood to talk with Delphine. Once you get out of the Warrens, into the Ratway Vaults, you will find Thalmor Soldiers and Wizards waiting for you. The good news is Esbern has a few tricks up his sleeve and is something of a Mage. Head for the Northern portion of the lower area to find the stairs leading up to the upper portion of this section of the Ratway. After that it is relatively uneventful for you to make it out of the Ratway and back into Riften Proper. From there just get to a point you can Fast travel and do so to make it to Riverwood with minimal delays.
The two Blades will talk and work out the next plan of action. Esbern explains that there is a Wall which contains everything the Blades knew of Alduin. He explains it as part history and part prophecy. To find it you need to head for Karthspire. Delphine explains a few ways to get there. The simplest is just heading to the South from Riverwood and walking.
When you make it to Karthspire Camp, expect a little time to catch your breath but not much beyond that. The camp quickly falls under attack by the Forsworn. There is a chance, though small, a dragon can get into the mix as well. Deal with them, talk with the other if desired, then start for the Western side of the Camp. You will find a bridge leading up the mountain toward Karthspire. Just go up to the first landing and turn to the right. Head inside the cave from there.
Inside Karthspire, you have more Forsworn to deal with. This includes one Forsworn Briarheart among the other Forsworn. Climb on up the stairs and head to the West to move on forward. Follow this tunnel to reach the next room. You will find Delphine and Esbern waiting for you here. Approach them to get some hints as to how to begin this first puzzle.
Once you complete it the bridge will lower for you:
Head across it and cut through the webbing. Head on up the slope. This leads to the next puzzle in the Karthspire:
Look to the right of the chain to find another drawbridge that has been lowered. Go on across it and head on up the tunnel and narrow ledge and follow it to the next large room. This is the entrance to Sky Haven Temple itself. This leads to the final puzzle of the area:
Now just head on up the stairs. This will lead you right to the Wall itself. Approach it and interact with it to learn what you can from it:
