Prophet is a main story quest in Skyrim: Dawnguard.

Starting Location[edit]
The quest Prophet starts inside inside Fort Dawnguard (if playing for the Dawnguards) or in Castle Volkihar (if playing a Vampire Lord)
Objectives[edit]
Locate a Moth Priest
Ask Carriage Drivers about the Moth Priest (Optional)
Ask Innkeepers in Cities about the Moth Priest (Optional)
Visit the College of Winterhold to ask about the Moth Priest (Optional)
Ask people in Dragon Bridge if they saw the Moth Priest
Search along the road that leads south from Dragon Bridge
Investigate the scene of the attack
Read the Vampire's Note
Get the Moth Priest
Walkthrough[edit]
Do one of the optional objectives. All of them lead you to Dragon Bridge.[1]
When you get to Dragon Bridge, ask people there or a guard if they saw the a Moth Priest
Go south past the bridge and find the location where the caravan was attacked.
Loot a dead vampire and read the Vampire's Note
Then go to Forebears' Holdout
Kill Malkus and use the Weystone Focus on the Weystone Source to break the barrier.
If you are a Vampire Lord you will have to use your vampire seduction power on Dexion Evicus to make him your thrall. Otherwise, if you are with the [[Skyrim: Dawnguards|Dawnguards] just fight him a bit until he is weak.
Tell him to go to Fort Dawnguard (if playing for the Dawnguards) or Castle Volkihar (if playing a Vampire Lord)
