Rorik is an elderly Nord. He is the owner of the lands that the town is built on. He has helped this community through his hard work to establish the farms here. He rewards the people here for their hard work. He encourages these traits as well, complimenting the various farmers on their homesteads and helps where he can.
Rorik lives with Jouane Manette. The two became fast friends after Jouane saved his life during the Great War. Rorik bought the land that Rorikstead is built on for very little as it was barren and nothing would grow there. The secret here really is just hard work.
