Sam Guevenne is a Breton NPC in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Sam Guevenne will appear in a bar or tavern after the Dragonborn has reached level 14. At this point, he will consistently appear in the same bar. He will offer some very potent drink to the Dragonborn.
This quest appears as a Miscellaneous Quest. It will change to A Night To Remember after you complete the drinking contest and wake up.

Sam Guevenne, at the end of A Night To Remember reveals himself to be the Daedric Prince of Debauchery. he will be impressed that you tracked him down. He will reward you with the staff the Sanguine Rose.
Sanguine likes to corrupt mortals to lives of debauchery. He tends to lure them in by example or just lead them to it through humiliation.
He is also known for having some trickster twists as he does have a spell that removes all the clothes of the people within the radius of it. This is just one of the known examples. Throughout the whole of the Elder Scrolls series, he has been the subject of many tales like that.
