Serana is an NPC in Skyrim: Dawnguard
She is first found in Dimhollow Cavern[1] during the quest Awakening. She has been locked underground for many years.
Serana is the daughter of Lord Harkon and Valerica
She carries around the Elder Scroll (Sun) and later becomes your companion as you seek to decipher the prophecy.
