The Gift is a side (Radiant) quest in Skyrim: Dawnguard.
The Gift is only available to Vampire Lords.

Prerequisite[edit]
Dragonborn is married.
Objectives[edit]
Turn your spouse into a Vampire.
Walkthrough[edit]
Use Vampire's Seduction on your spouse and then feed on her to turn her into a vampire.
Notes[edit]
If you don't have the Vampire's Seduction ability, have your character wait one day outside in the sun and you will gain that power.
To feed, interact with the NPC as if you are pickpocketing it, then choose to feed instead of pickpocket.
Vilkas, Farkas, and Aela the Huntress are werewolves and cannot be turned into Vampires. So if you are married to one of them, you will not be able to complete this quest.
Return to Vingalmo in Castle Volkihar when you are done.
