Kagrumez

Kagrumez is a dungeon in Skyrim: Dragonborn

Location[edit]

Kagrumez is a Dwemer Ruin found on Solstheim. It is a short distance South of the Temple of Miraak.

Walkthrough[edit]

Getting inside this Dwemer Ruin you will need to have collected 4 Kagrumez Resonance Gem.

2 Gems can be found on Reavers that are located in the main chamber. 1 can be bought from Revus Sarvani found North of Tel Mithryn by his Silt Strider. 1 can be found in Nchardak during the main quest. Another can be found in Fahlbtharz by the Visage of Mzund. Only 4 gems need to be collected to access and complete this Dungeon.

Once you are prepared, head down the stairs to the lever. Pull it to be lowered into the Dwemer Ruins of Kagrumez itself.

Once inside head to the Eastern side and take the ramp down. Follow this hallway to the door. You will hear some Reavers talking on the other side. Get ready and open door.

In the middle of the room you will find the Reavers: Marauder, and 2 Outlaw.

Clear them out, and loot the bodies to collect the Kagrumez Resonance Gems on them.

There are 3 doors around this central area. Each of them have a different Configuration. Placing the Kagrumez Resonance Gems in the different configurations will trigger arena battles that you need to clear to open the doors. You will place the gems, the pedastal will lower into the ground after a metal cage springs up around you.

Northern Door[edit]

Place the Resonance Gems in the Left Slot of the middle row and the right slot of the bottom row.

This will trigger a battle against Dwarven Spiders, Dwarven Spider Workers and Dwarven Ballista Masters. The Ballista tend to be on the elevated areas. Use whatever ranged attacks you can against them to lure them into dropping or just hitting them when you can. If they do not oblige, you can head around to the sides of the area. There you will find stairs leading up to the overlook.

Once the enemies are defeated, then the Northern door will open. Follow the hallway up into the Dewmer Storage room. There are a lot of Dwarven Metal Ingots. You can also get the pet follower: Steadfast Dwarven Spider.

Door 2[edit]

In this storage room you will find a second door. This one requires 3 Kagrumez Resonance Gems. 1 is placed in the Top center, 1 is placed in the bottom center and 1 in the bottom left. Head back to the central chamber and place the stones as shown. You are brought to a different part of the ruins.

Following that, you will be facing a second wave of the Dwemer Automatons. This a number of flame traps will sprout up and start firing. This time there are Dwarven Spheres and Dwarven Spiders amidst the Flame Traps that you will need to defeat.

Clearing most of the room will open a door on the Northern side of the room. Head on up the slope there. This leads to another room. In it is the next Resonance Gem pattern and a lever. The lever opens a sealed area with a Steadfast Dwarven Sphere. This unique Sphere can be a follower if you interact with it. It counts as a pet so you can still have another follower.

Door 3[edit]

This pattern requires 4 Kagrumez Resonance Gems. 1 goes in the top left. 1 goes in the center middle. 1 goes in the lower left and 1 goes in the lower right. With this in mind, head back to the central chamber and use the gems to make this pattern. Once again you will be facing Dwarven Spiders, Spheres and Ballista Masters. The floor will also be covered in water which can slow you down.

Follow the path all the way to the end. This brings you to the last chamber. Here you will find the Dwarven Black Bow of Fate
