"Learn the hidden knowledge of Epistolary Acumen" is an objective in the mainquest "The Gardener of Men" in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dragonborn.
Walkthrough[edit]
Interact with the Scrye to lower the next "Bridge" that will allow you to continue forward.
You will need to wait for the moving section to come back to you. It will not stop at this point and you must step onto the bridge with things still in motion.
Head to the book on the podium in this new area and interact with it. This will begin Chapter 2
The Dragonborn appears in a tunnel of swirling pages. Go forward and reach the next scrye. This will open this tunnel.
Outside it you will need to face the Seekers who are there.
Interact with the scrye on the Eastern side of the area which you opened up. Be wary because a Lurker will appear in the opposite corner of the area. Go and kill the Lurker. Be sure to use the large space that you have to work with in this arena.
Go to the Western side of the area and interact with the book there. This will begin Chapter III.
Inside this new area, you need to be on guard because there are more Seekers that are scattered throughout the area, they are idling, so most will be invisible. There are 2 in the first raised area.
Turn to the East from there and go up the stairs more to the top. Be wary of more Seekers that are in the area.
At the very top in the Eastern portion, go over to the East and enter the hallway across from the top of the stairs.
Go to the end of the hallway and interact with the Scrye. This will open the doorway forward. Go just past the gates and turn around. You will find another Scrye that you can use, do so.
This will open the gate to the West to let you continue on forward. Head into the hallway of stacked books and go over to the left. Get through the stone room, avoiding the pool of liquid in the middle to evade the tendrils in there, and into the next hallway. Be on guard because there are seekers in this portion.
Follow it on through to the end. You will find the next book to take you to Chapter IV
In this chapter, you begin with having to activate a scrye on the far side of a pool of fluid. This will extend a ramp and remove a cage around the next book
Having done that, you will quickly reach the next book once things align. This is the actual Black Book Epistolary Acumen Interact with it to finish this portion of the quest.
This will summon Hermaeus Mora to you. Talk with the Daedric Prince and he will give you the second word,Hah of Bend Will.
