"Recover evidence from Severin Manor" is an objective in the side quest "Served Cold" in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dragonborn.
Walkthrough[edit]
With this new assignment, it is time to head to the Severin Manor to see if there is any evidence to collect. Head to the West from where you met Arano to find the entrance to the Manor. Start sneaking and then head inside to begin your search.
Inside the manor, head down the stairs in front of you. You will find Tilisu and Mirri talking in the entry way. Mirri has the Severin Safe Key. You can kill both of them and then head down stairs or just head down the stairs in front of you and avoid the conflict. If you spare them here, you will encounter them again later on in the quest.
On the lower level, head to the Southern back room. Once in there, go to the back left part of the room. Next to the bookshelf you will find the Severin Family Safe. Without the key it is an Expert lock. Experienced thieves should have little trouble with it. Otherwise, you might want to deal with the Severins on the level above.
Inside the safe, you will find The Ulen Matter letter. Grab this and then start to sneak out.
