A travel event in The Banner Saga which occurs while you are on the road.
A group of Dredge appear off in the hills. They don't see your party, but you see them.
Options[edit]
There are several options for dealing with this scenario. As you are just leaving a town, that complicates things.
Attack the Dredge - This will engage your party in battle, but victory will mean defeating the Dredge and saving the village below
Let the village deal with them - Take it on faith that the village behind can deal with the Dredge on their own. This will cause a few townspeople to die in combat.
