A mine in The Last of Us
A stationary explosive weapon with a pressure plate embedded inside of it.
When pressure is placed upon the mine it explodes, blasting whoever stepped onto it into chunks and all but destroying their legs.
These weapons can not only kill the Infected, but Joel and Ellie, too.
