Walkthrough

• Use the Flammie Drum to call in our favorite dragon to start toward your destination, Altena.
• Head to the Northwest from Oblivisle.
• Arriving in the Castle Town, head forward through the Town itself to reach the castle.
• Just inside the castle itself, you will encounter 2 Black Mages.
• Continue to the North from the bridge of the castle into the castle itself.
• Just inside you will find 3 Chess Knights and a Wizard.
• Head over to the East and into the next hallway and enter the first room, in the Southeastern corner.
• This room has 3 Black Mages and a Wizard.
• Clear them out and head to the Northeastern corner of this room to find a Sparkle with an Item Seed.
• Head into the next room to the North, opening the door.
• Inside here the party can find 2 chests, likely with Pale Storm (if Duran is lead) and the other chest has 2,500 lucre.
• Go to the North and into the Stairwell with the fireplace in the middle.
• Circle around to the Northeast, under the stairs to find a Sparkle with a Candy in it.
• There is a little more to explore here, so head back to the entrance and then go over to the West.
• Just to the Northwest of the entrance is a chapel with a Silver Goddess Statue for saving.
• The room in the Southwestern corner has nothing of note in it (being a dining room and kitchen).
• Going into the next room to the North, you will find a Sparkle with 10 lucre.
• The final room to the North here has a chest with a Strong Armlet in it.
• Going into the Northwestern stairwell, you can find a chest behind the diving inside to the right.
• Inside this chest can be a Cup of Wishes.
• After that, it is time to head up the stairs onto the next level.
• Before going into the next section, head along the walkway to the Northwestern corner to find a chest there with 40 lucre.
• Go through the door here and then across the walkway into the next tower.
• Circle around to the entrance and head down into the lower area.
• Once there, go over to the East to find more enemies: Machine Golem (armored) and a Black Mage.
• Go around the corner, to the South and then East across the narrow bridge.
• After that, go to the South and climb up the tower here to reach a Chest with 2 Honey Elixirs.
• Continue to the Northeast after that, going all the way to the end of this walkway will turn up a Green Pot to heal a bit.
• Go across the nearby bridge tot he North and then over to the West to find more Wizards and Black Mages.
• Continuing to the end of this path leads to a chest with a Gold Item Seed.
• Go back to the East and then take the stairs across from the bridge you crossing only a short while ago into the next few chambers.
• There are 2 chambers, 1 to the West and 1 to the East.
• In the Western chamber are some Machine Golems.
• Go into the Eastern chamber to find a path to the north.
• Going to the North through the broken wall will let you pass through and encounter more Black Mage and Wizard.
• Once there, go over to the West and into the chamber across the way.
• Inside is a Machine Golems and a Wizard guarding a chest.
• The Chest has 3,500 lucre inside it.
• Continue to the North from here, going into the next chamber to find a hole in the wall, lead to a passage going East and West.
• Head over to the East is a chamber with a Chest that has a Gold Item Seed.
• Go back into the last passage and head over to the West from there.
• Going to the South at this next junction will lead you to a Purple Pot, and after that, backtrack to the North and go across the next bridge to the West.
• Clear out the nearby enemies and head to the North.
• Jump up onto the scaffolding here and make your way over to the East.
• Open the chest there to find 2 Silver Item Seeds.
• Go back across the scaffolding and go to the South using the nearby bridge and then going over to the West and turning to the South into the large chamber.
• This large chamber has 4 Machine Golems (armored) inside it.
• Defeat them and continue to the South.
• This passage goes East and West.
• Start by going to the East and turning North.
• You will find a pair of Chess Knights protecting a chest.
• Defeat the Knights and claim the chest to collect 500 Lucre.
• Go back to the South and into the Passageway.
• Turn to the South before continuing to the West.
• Down this short Southern passage, you will find a Chess Knight and Black Mage protecting a Chest with a Gold Item Seed inside it.
• Continue to the West after that, going down the stairs and look to the small platform across the short bridge.
• You will find a number of Black Mages and Wizards.
• On this platform, interact with the statue to lower the barrier on the level above.
• Go back to the North and then turn to the West to continue forward, heading up the stairs.
• Turn to the South at the top of the stairs and follow the passage that way and over to the West.
• Deal with the 2 Machine Golems there and continue to the West.
• Turn to the North and then look to the small remains of the passage to the East to find a chest with 2 Cups of Wishes.
• Go to the South after that to find a Blue and Green Pot after jumping the break in the walkway.
• Drop down into the walkway below the break in your present one.
• Search the cells along the Southern wall to find a Purple Pot if you need more MP.
• Go over to the East and then go back up the stairs.
• Take out the Chess Knights that have likely respawned there and then go through the now open passage leading to the Throne Room.
• Going through the previously sealed door will bring the party into the lower courtyard where there are more monsters to fight.
• Defeat the Machine Golems and Wizards.
• Look to the top left corner of this small courtyard after that to find a Sparkle with a Candy.
• Go through the archway in front of you after that and up the stairs there.
• Once there, go to the right and look between the trees to find a Sparkle with 20 lucre.
• After that, enter either door leading into the main keep.
• This will trigger the cutscene with the Crimson Wizard and the Darkshine Knight standing over the Queen and Faerie.
• The leader will turn over the Sword of Mana to save the Queen and Faerie.
