The Automatic Takedown is a hack that helps you escape during a vehicle chase in Watch Dogs 2.
Watch for the prompts on the screen and be ready to trigger the automatic takedowns when the prompt appear.
This usually results in manipulating the environment through which you just drove by, before the enemy reaches it. Examples include erecting bollards, bursting a steam pipe, or changing traffic lights.
