You encounter John Verdun who was tied up by some refugees near the river after they discovered that he is a deserter, in the mission, At the Mercy of Strangers.

If you untie him and save him from being killed by Drowners, him and his bandits brutally exact revenge on the refugees that were responsible.

Description[edit]

This refugee was killed by a spear that pierced through the center of his body.
