A Notice Board is a good source of Quests and Contracts in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Found in many Villages and other locations.

Here you can find Monster Contracts and announcements about matters of local concern.

White Orchard: Go west past Woesong Bridge, enter the village and continue west past the tavern. You should see the notice board near a house next to the road. (MAP)

Be sure to check out the Notice Board as soon as you arrive at a town so that you don't miss out on any quests. Also some of the Notice Board contracts and quests will take you to places you were going to anyway so you can do those quests on the way
Reading a notice will add an "Undiscovered Location" (question mark) marker to a map for that notice. Go to those question marks to investigate.
Some quests can be started by either reading the notice board, or by talking to the relevant quest NPC
Not all notices result in quests or contracts starting directly. Some notices will just add question marks to your map. Other notices might just be there for flavor.
If you don't see any question marks on your map, try reading the local notice board to get them added.
