Background[edit]
A Merchant has sent you to retrieve a small box after his cart was attacked by monsters and his horse died.
Obviously whatever is in this box is of great importance to him
You have found the box and now you need to return it to the Merchant.

Walkthrough[edit]
Head back to the road and towards the Campfire where the Merchant is located at, and talk to the Merchant.
Dialog[edit]
Merchant: Oh! And? You find the box?
(Dialog choices: "Seen through your lies" / "Found it. Here" / "Be back later")
Geralt: Yeah, found your priceless chest. And someone who looks an awful lot like a cart driver... with an arrow through his neck. No dryads in this swamp, and never known a Drowner or a water hag to use a bow. So lacking any other suspects, I'm guessing..
Merchant: Watch out! Behind you!
Geralt: There's nothing behind me. I'm a Witcher, I'd have heard it. Just like I can hear your heart. Which is pounding... Like a liar's. Best hope youy're a better rider than you are a liar.
Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]
- After the dialogue is over, depends on your dialog choices, the merchant might try to escape. So be ready to give chase.
Precious Cargo Quest[edit]
- Use your Witcher Senses to find where the cart left the road
- Find the cart
- Look around the cart for evidence about the attack using your Witcher Senses
- Find the little box the merchant mentioned using your Witcher Senses
- Return the box to the merchant
- Chase down the merchant
- Knock the merchant off his horse
