Go to Odolan's House and talk to Odolan
Odolan's House is located near some fields on the western side of the village.
Odolan will give you more info on the quest, so you can decide whether you want to accept the contract or not.
Dialog[edit]
Geralt: Job done. The well was hunted by a ghost of a woman who was killed there. I drove it away.
Odolan: I just hope every unburied wretch don't start hauntin' us, or that battle field's gonna cause us a heap o' trouble
Geralt: Of they do, you know who to contact. Meanwhile... Claer, Volker - names ring a bell?
Odolan: I don't know 'em. Though I did hear our herbalist Tomira mention a Claer once... same one, maybe? Your reward, master witcher. The gold I'd hid away for Mandy's dowry. Without you, she'd never have lived to wed. Now... there is a hope for it at least.
Geralt: At this point, doubt I'll ever marry... you keep the coin for Mandy, her wedding. Raise a toast to my health then.
Odolan: Thank you, master witcher. Them's warm words, you've got a good heart. But I can't let you go empty-handed. Take this at least, for luck.

- If you refuse the reward, Odolan will give you an Amethyst instead. The Amethyst can be used for crafting.
Devil by the Well Contract[edit]
- Ask Odolan about the Contract
- Find the spirit that haunts the well
- Find evidence of the spirit's presence using your witcher senses
- Read the entry about noonwraiths in the Bestiary
- Find out what binds the noonwraith to the ruined village
- Follow the drag marks using your Witcher Senses
- Read the diary from the ruined house
- Use your Witcher Senses to examine the well
- Defeat the noonwraith
- Go down the well and look for something that belonged to the dead woman using your Witcher Senses
- Find a way out of the cave
- Leave the cave
- Prepare to fight the noonwraith and light a fire near the well
- Light a fire to destroy the noonwraith's bones and bracelet
- Defeat the noonwraith
- Take a trophy from the noonwraith
- Return to Odolan for a reward
