Asset Recovery is a mission type in XCOM Enemy Unknown in which players are tasked with sweeping an area before eliminating all hostiles inside of the area. This mission type is rare, but typically boils down to a basic slog across the level killing everything in sight. The main goal here is to recover as much of the Alien tech as possible.
