Taming a Mesopithecus
Taming a Mesopithecus is done non-violently. Use Mejoberries or Dodo Kibble. Make sure the food is in the hotbar and slowly approach the Mesopithecus. Feed it (press E) as soon as you see the prompt. Don't get too close or you will scare it away.
Riding a Mesopithecus
You cannot ride a Mesopithecus (as a matter of fact, the Mesopithecus can ride on your shoulders!)

- The Mesopithecus's attack is to throw feces.
