"Use Your Flashlight to Find the Vent Entrance" is a mission objective in the game Alien: Isolation

Turn on your flashlight
If it does not turn on, you need to recharge it with new Flashlight Batteries. There are some flashlight batteries in Axel's Pad, as well as just when you enter the dark room where you are currently in.
Hold the flashlight button ('F' on PC) to recharge the flashlight.
Next, you need to search the area for the vent entrance. It is located in the room to the west, at the north end of that room:
The objective will complete once you locate the entrance
The vent is locked initially, wait for Axel to come and unlock it.
