Frigates are one of the more durable foes you will encounter on the seas of the Colonies. They are a fair match for The Aquila but they are not nearly as durable. They can fire a full broadside at you and are very durable.
Destroying a frigate can be done with a few broadsides. Using Heat Shot will take it down even faster if you have available to you.
