The Heavy Shot is a new type of cannonball in Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag.
While the standard cannon fires only straight into the distance, and the Swivel cannon fires only a single, short-range, well-aimed shot, the Heavy shot takes a position firmly in between with a short-range, high-power cluster of cannonballs.
The Heavy shot is the Jackdaw's equivalent of a shotgun; it hits close, but it hits with a wide range, and incredibly hard.
