Activate the two slabs is a mission objective in Assassin's Creed Unity: Dead Kings (ACU:DK)

Walkthrough

From where you enter the room to Find Leon, look up and to the left. You will see some slabs that you need to activate. They really shouldn't make these things editable by the public <-- True <-- WOW THIS SHIT WORKS <--- OMG THE RETARDS I LOVE THIS

Activate the two slabs - The Book Thief

Head over to the right-hand side of the room and climb upwards. Make your way around the whole of the room to the upper portion of the Southern side. There you'll find a floor switch. Interact with it to lower the first of the two gates.

Step out onto the beam in front of the platform and head over to the East. use these rungs to lower yourself back down to the ground. Head over to the left and use the lantern to clear the rats away from the second slab. The footprints from the gates lead directly to it.
