Dark Bum is a passive item in The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (TBOIR)

Effects
When you pick Dark Bum up, you get a Familiar that follows Isaac around the room and picks up red hearts. For every 1.5 hearts picked up, Dark Bum will spawn one of the following:
- An enemy spider
- A friendly blue spider
- A soul heart
- A black heart.
Soul hearts are the most common spawns, while black hearts are the most rare.

Dark Bum appears as a a small gray familiar with horns:
Strategy Guide/Tips
- A Dark Bum will drop Eternal Hearts in the The Cathedral and Black Hearts in The Black Room.
