It is a variant of the Stone Grimace.
The Gaping Maw is invincible and usually surrounded by Spikes
It sucks the player towards it, causing damage when you touch the Spikes
Strategy Guide/Tips
- Keep moving constantly in the room or you will be sucked towards the monster
- You don't have to defeat this monster to unlock the room.
