BioShock Infinite is the third game in the BioShock series, and the second developed by Ken Levine and his team at Irrational Games. It abandons the undersea setting of the past two games for the sky - players are now cast into the sky-bound city of Columbia. The story begins as a rescue, with players embodying Booker DeWitt, an unassuming man who gets caught up in an extraordinary rescue when he finds himself in the chaos of Columbia in the midst of a revolution. At the center of it all is Elizabeth, a young woman who has been trapped in the city for the last fifteen years under the watch of the flying, dragon-like Songbird.

The second part of the game takes place as a chase, with players running from Songbird and trying to keep Elizabeth safe during the ensuing revolution.
