The sign around the dead man's neck in BioShock Infinite

A sign which has been strung around the neck of the bound corpse in the lighthouse.

Message[edit]

"Don't disappoint us."

Meaning[edit]

The sign seems to be meant as a warning for Booker DeWitt, who heads up the lighthouse to rescue Elizabeth.

He must succeed in his mission - is this dead body the last person who failed his mission?
