The Vault Hunter needs to go and defeat the Fire Spiderant Scorch. Head to the Southwest from the Incinerator Camp and up the slope nearby the Fast Travel Station and get over to Frozen Ant Lake. Look to the right to find Scorch.
Scorch is your typical, very large, Spiderant. Its head shield can deflect incoming bullets. The trick there is to use Explosive-type weapons so they explode on him. This reduces the amount that comes back at you. Get around him and shoot this thorax. If you can take him out without killing any of his followers, you will complete a challenge.
