A small tip, save before starting this race. That way, if you run out of time, you can reload the last save and have a fresh "First try". Take a little time with the curves. This occasionally means making a sharp turn but they aren't, overall, too challenging to deal with. Be absolutely certain to boost over every jump. This is on the only way to ensure that you clear it.
