"Locate main excavation site" is a mission objective in the story mission "The Beginning of the End" in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Walkthrough[edit]

Jack really didn't take that bit of betrayal very well. First thing though is find the apparently opened Vault that is on Elpis. Turn around and head for the nearby Fast Travel Station. Use it to quickly head on out to Triton Flats.

Once there head on out to the Burraburra. You want to make it to the crossover to the east of Banjo Point. This will lead you through to Bradman's Quarry. This will lead you on through to Vorago Solitude. Once you get through there, Jack will be reiterating his plan to deal with the Bandits. Pickle will also tell you some about what he'd like you to keep an eye out for.

As you head to the South you will find a number of the Lost Legion waiting for you. This involves Ice Marines along with basic Marines in the area. There is also a Medic too, find and kill this guy quickly. As you get through the forces you will encounter a Lost Legion Eternal. Make your way to the Southeast from there.

A lot more of the Lost Legion are waiting for you through this area. You have Engineers. Marines and the odd Medic. Take your time in this fight. This is because in the final part of the ewaves here you need to deal with Badass Lost Legion Marine

Head around the corner to the West after you get through the forces. Be careful as there are likely a pair of Field Turrets on the wall to the South. You need to clear them with all the other forces to get the door to open into the next portion of Vorago Solitude.

Head through the now open gate into the complex. This will lead you right to the beginning of the next objective. With a number of Lost Legion gunning for you.
