"Scan laser drill" is a mission objective in the side mission "Eradicate!" in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
Walkthrough[edit]
Head for the nearby Jump Pad from the Sensor Array. This launches you to the center of Central Maintenance. Go over to the airlock that leads into the next portion where the Lost Legion and Infected are fighting.
Make your way into the second room of the conflict. On the lower level you will fidn the scanner that you are looking for.
