A Brigand Bloodletter resisting a status effect in Darkest Dungeon

"Resist" is a possible outcome of applying a status effect in the Darkest Dungeon

Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]

  • Both heroes and monsters can resist effects
  • There is no real immunity to any effects. Resistances and chances to apply a certain effect are subtracted, e.g. a 100% stun resistance and a 120% stun skill chance will end up at a 20% probability to apply the stun effect on the target.
  • Often monsters will have different resists for different effects. For example a Maggot has 100% resist to stun, but only 75% resist to bleed.
  • Certain hero Quirks increase your resistance to various status effects.
