Destiny 2: Find Zavala - Homecoming

The Story Mission, “Homecoming” in Destiny 2.

Find Zavala is an Objective in the story mission Homecoming in Destiny 2.

Summary

Fight your way to Zavala to help him defend the plaza.

Walkthrough

Go forward and over to the right through the open hallway.

Go up the stairs and head over to the right. You will find Shaxx who will be calling you over. He will open the door to his armory.

Inside the armory, you will get 1 of 3 exotic guns: Sweet Business (Titan), Sunshot (Hunter) or Riskrunner (Warlock).

Armed

With the exotic weapon acquired, head for the back door between the weapon racks. Open it up and head on through.

Go on down the stairs and into the room beyond. You will find a pair of Legionaries.

Head on down the hallway beyond the room you arrive in.

This leads into the back portion of the hangar.

Go on up the stairs to the left

then turn to the right and take the stairs further up and then double jump to the top.

On the landing, turn to the left and follow the path on through.

This will eventually lead you into the Tower Hangar. To the left you will find another pair of Legionaries.

Inside the next room you will come across a squad of Cabal.

Below you initially is a Centurion.

Just after that, you will encounter a number of Legionaries. Make your way to the back right door to find the way out of this room. It is guarded by another Centurion

Just beyond that one, you will find another Legionary waiting for you.

Go through the door that they were guarding to reach a walkway.

Follow this walkway over to the right to reach a different part of the hangar.

Here you will encounter 3 Legionaries that will rush the Guardian.

Head forward and over to the right to reach the far part of the hangar. Be careful of the additional 4 Legionaries and a Centurion.

Against the Centurion try to use a Solar Weapon to decimate its shield.

Go over to the right to trigger a Cabal Sphere come crashing in and reveal 3 more Legionaries.

Go to the ruined walkway and jump up to the doorway on the right.

Go on up the stairs and through the collapsed hallway to reach the plaza where Zavala is. Go to the left when you reach the first bend and then go to the right. Drop down through the holes in the floor.
