The Objective, “Navigate the Facility” in Destiny 2.

Navigate the Facility is an Objective in the Dungeon called Grasp of Avarice in Destiny 2.

Summary[edit]

Navigate through the ruins of the facility.

Walkthrough[edit]

  • Inside this first section of the Rusted Gangplank, go forward to the second doorway on the right.
  • Ignore the large hatch (for now) and the first door on the right since the first won't immediately open and the second is just a death trap.
  • Jump over the pressure plate through the second doorway and activate the switch inside this room.
  • Ignore the hatch since it has opened, but its a dead end beyond a switch.
  • Look above the entrance to find some machines.
  • Jump up onto the machines here.
  • Climb on up here to find and get to the top of the walkway.
  • Here, you need to reach the third tunnel here.
  • Jump out to it and enter the tunnel.
  • In the end tunnel here, blast the panel here, and climb on up here.
  • Inside this large area, climb up using the machines on the wall on the right.
  • Carefully jump up onto the first narrow walkway and then jump from there to the tunnel beyond.
  • From there, just go forward to reach the back of the area.
  • Open the door in front of you using the switch on the console on the left at the right-hand end of it.
  • Time to start across the watery area below it.
  • Go across the walkway here.
  • Jump over to the open doorway on the left-hand side.
  • Inside this room, keep to the left here to avoid a pressure plate insta-death trap.
  • Inside this small room, you will encounter a few Thrall.
  • Defeat them and look to the back wall to find a control panel with lights on.
  • Interact with it to access the next room in this sequence, (facing the watery area).
  • There is now an open door on the right-hand side of the room, that you will need to long-jump to.
  • Jump out there and head into the room.
  • In this room, take out the Thralls and Revenant Cursed Thralls inside it.
  • Once again, head to the center back of it to find a control panel.
  • Interact with the control panel to open the next doorway on the right-hand side of this room (facing the watery area).
    • Be sure to do the jump across the watery area using the upper portion of the door to avoid falling to your death.
  • Inside this area, you will find more Thralls to defeat.
  • Activate the switch here to call a Shrieker into the area.
  • Head on through the previous room and backtrack to the first door here to find a way to actually shoot the Shrieker.
  • Destroying the Shrieker, head to the now open hatch behind the walkway nearby the door.
  • Inside this newly opened room, you will encounter a Revenant Knight with more Thrall.
  • Defeat them and head to the back wall of this room where you will find another active console.
  • Interact with it to open the hatch on the OPPOSITE end of the watery area where you are.
  • Use the raised door to get across the watery area to encounter yet more Acolytes.
  • In the back of this room, interact with the handle switch in the back wall next to the shelf.
  • This brings the fireteam into a large circular room, time for another puzzle.
  • The Circular room has numbers above each of the other rooms and these are the key to getting through it.
  • From the entrance, jump out to the middle section.
  • In the middle section, head over to the right, being mindful of the Thrall and Wizard in the area.
  • Make your way to the Door 4 side and jump over to it.
  • Once there, interact with the console just below the display.
  • This will cause Door 3 to open.
  • Turn to the left and over to the opposite side of the room.
  • Door 3 will have a number of Acolytes and a Wizard emerge from it.
  • Clear out the enemies then head into the room here through either open shutter door.
  • Go to the back of the room and interact with the control panel to open Door 1.
  • From Door 3, head out into the main part of the room and go around to the right to find Door 1.
  • Once again, deal with the Wizard and the wave of Acolyte.
  • Go inside the room and to the back to find another control panel after clearing out the Hive.
  • This will open the final door, Door 2.
  • Just one Guardian needs to head over there and grab the Scorch Cannon.
  • Now, with the Scorch Cannon, go over to Dpor 4, which has a Fallen device to the right of it.
  • Jump over to the platform in front of it, and fire a charge from the Scorch Cannon.
  • Keep holding the fire button here to charge up the shot to 2 Clicks, or until it starts beeping, release the fire button at that point.
  • This will open the shutter door nearby.
  • Be careful going up the stairs, watching for a large barrel coming down the stairs.
  • When it does, duck into any of the narrow openings along the side of the stairs.
  • At the top of the stairs, go into the room at the top.
  • In this room, go over to the left and into the next section of the room.
  • Go toward the back and turn around, where you can see a lit vent opening in the top right of the room.
  • Climb up the crates and go into the vent here.
  • Run through it to the right and then out into the large watery room.
  • Use the pillar ahead of you, with the platform, on the left-hand side of the room.
  • Jump across to the platform and then jump from the platform to the remains of the walkway at the far end of the room.
  • This walkway has some Hive Crystals around it, so you know you are going the right way.
  • Just run along this passage and jump the gap to reach the first boss room.
