"Explorer mode" is a difficulty level in the game, Divinity: Original Sin 2:

"If you prefer story and exploration over being challenged in combat, this is the difficulty for you."

Overview[edit]

What is Explorer Mode?

"Explorer Mode" is considered an "easy mode" for players who want to focus on the story elements and don't care much about the combat.

Effects[edit]

Explorer Mode includes the following gameplay modifiers:

  • Player Base HP +80%
  • Player Chance to Hit +30%
  • Enemy HP -50% Penalty
  • Enemy Accuracy -25% Penalty
  • Regular mobs do not cast crowd control effects (Charm, freeze, mute, etc), only bosses know those spells.

Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]

  • Use this mode if your party is constantly being wiped on the battlefield
  • Use this mode if you enjoy the story and don't want to be distracted by long combat.
