Location[edit]

Dialog[edit]

I[edit]

Narrator - *The warder stares at the ground, unaware of your presence. With a start, she looks up and realises someone is standing right beside her. Her eyes meet yours. She doesn't blink.*

Magister Timery - They say the Divine is dead. The Bishop is all we have left.

Sebille - [SCHOLAR] * Admit that it’s a first in all of Rivellon’s history.*

Magister Timery - It’ll be a ’last’ as well...

Sebille - *Ask if the Divine was alive when she enlisted.*

Magister Timery - Hmm? Oh. Yes. Only a week or two

before - well - you know. I wanted to serve him more than anything. But who didn't, then? He was driving the Black Ring back; he was freeing entire towns by the day. If only he'd lived...

Sebille - *Ask if she's certain that rounding up Sourcerers in Fort Joy will protect anyone. *

Magister Timery -I put my faith in the Bishop. Reminds me of his father. And what he's said has been true: Wherever there are Sourcerers, Voidwoken strike. Better to keep ’em here, away from the villages. I don't know how anyone could argue with that.

Sebille • *Say vou hope a new Divine arises soon.* Magister Timery -I wish it every night. More than anything.

Sebille - *Take your leave.*

II[edit]

Magister Timery - They say the Divine is dead. The Bishop is all we have left.

Ifan Ben-Mezd - *Ask if she takes any comfort from the Bishop's presence here.*

Narrator - *She pauses for several moments.*

III[edit]

The Red Prince - [LIZARD] ‘Remark that Alexandar is but human. If he's really all that's left, we're in dire straits indeed.*

Magister Timers' - Yes, our Lord Bishop is human! And so was his father, you insolent cur! His father the Divine! The Divine...

Narrator - ‘Her voice trails to silence and she resumes staring at the ground, lost deeply in thought.*

IV[edit]

The Red Prince - *Say you wouldn't know anything about that.*

Magister Timery - Lucky you. I guess they don't care much for the Divine off in the Ancient Empire. Not even your towers will hold off the Voidwoken, though. Nothing can save any of us from them. Nothing... *She focuses on a spot over your shoulder and seems to forget you're there.*

Narrator - *Her voice trails to silence and she resumes staring at the ground, lost deeply in thought.*

V[edit]

Lohse - [MYSTIC) *Offer that perhaps it's time to forge new gods.*

Magister Timery - This isn’t some thought experiment, you know. This is real. The Voidwoken are here, and only a Divine can send them back. Lucian is gone. We are alone. And unless he returns...

VI[edit]

Magister Timery - They say the Divine is dead. The Bishop is all we have left.

Sebille - [ELF] ‘Remark that Alexandar is but human. If he's really all that's left, we’re in dire straits indeed.* Magister Timers' - Yes, our Lord Bishop is human! And so was his father, you insolent cur! His father the Divine! The Divine...

Narrator - *Her voice trails to silence and she resumes staring at the ground, lost deeply in thought.*

VII[edit]

The Red Prince - *Roll your eyes. Who needs a god anyway?*

Magister Timery - Shut your mouth, bug-eater! The next Divine is out there, somewhere. And it’s them, not your towers and your spells, that’ll save us.

VIII[edit]

Ifan Ben-Mezd - [HUMAN] *Scoff. Alexandar is only half the man his father was. Now there was a man! A pinnacle of the species!*

Magister Timery - You do well to speak highly of Lucian; you do ill to speak lowly of our Lord Bishop! He is hope. He is our beacon. I le is the destructor of Voidwoken. Remember what you owe him: all!
