A decorated chest.

The ornate chest usually has slightly better items than a regular chest.

Interaction Options

The following actions can be performed on a Ornate Chest:

• Pickup - Put Ornate Chest in inventory
• Open - Open Ornate Chest to check contents
• Attack - Destroy Ornate Chest
• Examine - See Ornate Chest stats, such as vitality.

In most cases when you find a Ornate Chest you will want to open it and have a look at its contents as there might be something useful or valuable inside.

Strategy Guide/Tips

• If you can't reach a chest you can use teleportation.
• There is an Ornate Chest at the Elf Cave in Fort Joy. You have to destroy a Barricade to access the passage in which it is in, then teleport the chest to your character.
