User Interface Options in The Elder Scrolls Online

User Interface Settings in The Elder Scrolls Online include:

Heads-Up Display

  • Action Bar - Controls the visibility of the Ability Bar. When automatic display is selected, your Ability Bar will only appear during combat or while targeting an enemy.
  • Active Combat Tips - Controls the display of helpful combat tips at the bottom of the Heads Up Display. When automatic display is chosen, it will only be shown when necessary to learn the core mechanics of combat.
  • Quest Tracker - Displays the Quest Tracker on the right side of the Heads Up Display.

Health bars

  • Healthbars - Enables the healthbar system that appears above creatures, non player characters, and players.
  • Self - Controls the display of the overhead healthbar above your character
  • Friendly NPCs - Controls the display of the overhead healthbar above friendly non player characters
  • Enemy NPCs - Controls the display of the overhead healthbar above enemy non player characters
  • Enemy Players - Controls the display of the overhead healthbar above enemy players

Indicators

  • Alliance Indicators - Controls the display of an alliance icon above players that signifies their alliance association
  • Group Members - Displays a group member icon above players that are in your group
