Background

I've agreed to help the Hermaeus Mora cult of Primeval Seekers to prevent the nereid of Halcyon Lake from using forbidden secrets to subvert the laws of nature.

Walkthrough

Start running to the East. You need to make it to the far side of the Ruins you are in. Follow Herald Kixathi as she takes the winding path down. Follow her example and ignore the various Rain Disciples that attack you. In most cases you can simply take the hits without much delay.

One shortcut you can take, with a Soul Gem to spare, is to drop over the edge. From there just start and keep running.

In either case, to keep with the theme of the mission, try to avoid conflict. There is little point in killing everyone in your way. Head back to the main chamber of the area. Go out the Eastern exit to the next large room. You will find Lorelia down at the bottom of the area. She is ready for a fight now.

The Nereid will attack with some ranged spells. She is not very melee focused, but can still do some damage there. Getting in close with powerful attacks will make very short work of this foe.
