Put the Fusion Core in the Power Armor is a quest objective in the mission When Freedom Calls in Fallout 4.

This objective involves using the Fusion Core you found in the Basement to power up the T-45 Power Armor on the roof of the Museum.

I obtained the Fusion Core.

I should now insert it into the T-45 Power Armor.

Interact with the T-45 Power Armor on the roof of the Museum to insert the Fusion Core.

The left arm and right leg of the T-45 Power Armor are heavily damaged.
Next to a toolbox near to the Power Armor you can find a holotape: Log - SSG Michael Daly
