5% Friend XP Boost is one of the possible rewards for advancing in the Battle Pass in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Part of the rewards in the Premium Battle Pass, letting you advance faster.

Grants a boost to the amount of match XP your friends receive when you play with them during this season.

You get this reward as you advance tiers in the Season 2 Battle Pass (Premium Path)
You unlock this at tier 9, tier 23, tier 37, and tier 51, for a total of 20% friend XP boosts.
You also get a 10% Friend XP Boost when you purchase the Season 2 Battle Pass (at tier 1), so you can have a total of 30% Friend XP Boost.
To add a friend, click on the icon on the "friends list" icon on the top right corner. You can then look them up by Epic display name or by email address.
