Friendly Fire in Fortnite BR

Friendly Fire refers to whether or not your shots can hit and kill your squadmates.

If Friendly Fire is on, then your shots can injure and eliminate your own team.

If Friendly Fire is off, then your shots have no effects on teammates.

Current Status[edit]

Friendly Fire is DISABLED

This means you CANNOT injure or kill your own team members.

Notes[edit]

  • Friendly Fire was originally on, but Epic disabled it in January 2018 to address teamkilling. There were a large number of teamkillers for example to kill you for your loot.
