The Umbrella is a special type of vehicle in Fortnite Battle Royale.
It is a reward for winning the game and staying the last one alive. It replaces your Glider.
You can deploy the Umbrella after you jump from the Battle Bus, while Skydiving.
Your Umbrella lets you fly at a slower and more controllable trajectory, as opposed to Skydiving.
How to get
- To get the Umbrella you must win the game.

If you purchased a founder's pack before September 21st you get an exclusive camo skin for your Umbrella (and Glider)

Strategy Guide/Tips
- Victory in the game means that you were the last person to survive; It does not matter how many kills you got.
- The Umbrella will automatically deploy if you get too close to the ground.
- The Umbrella does not have any advantages over the Glider, such as speed.
- The Umbrella's difference is purely cosmetic.
- If you win in solo mode you will only have the Umbrella available in Solo Mode, but not in Squad Mode.
- If you win in team mode you will only have the Umbrella available in Team Mode, but not in Solo Mode.
- If you win in both modes, you will have the Umbrella available in both modes.
- Currently there is no way of going back to the Glider once you've unlocked the Umbrella.
