The Creative Tool is the main item you use in the Fortnite Creative Mode.
You can use it to move objects, copy objects, delete and rotate them, and more.
Works on natural objects (such as Rocks, Trees) as well as structures (Walls, shelves)
Using the Creative Tool
Target an item you want to move or copy, such as a tree or a shelf.
You can either:
- Copy (this leaves the targeted object in place and you can put a new one wherever you want)
- Pick Up (this moves the targeted object)
- Delete (this removes the targeted object)
Once you've locked on to an object and selected it, options include:
- Copy
- Push
- Pull
- Rotate Clockwise
- Rotate Counter Clockwise
- Mirror
- Rotation Axis (Roll/Yaw/Pitch)
- Rotation Reset (Hold)
- Drops (on/off)
- Grid Snap (Off/2/4/8/16)

- The Creative Tool cannot be dropped.
- The Creative Tool appears in your inventory as a rare weapon, but it has no damage and cannot be dropped.
