Fantastic Four #1 (Nov. 1961)
Upon being exposed to cosmic rays during space
travel, Johnny Storm gained the ability to burst into
flames and fly. Johnny went on to become a founding
member of the Fantastic Four, Marvel's first super
hero team. Each member wore matching outfits
made of unstable molecules capable of with-
standing the force of their powers.
