There are several ship classes in No Man's Sky:
Fighters
The Fighter ship is a light and symmetrical ship with good maneuverability, used primarily for combat.
Traders
The Trader ship is slow and bulkier but has heavier weapons for attack and defense.
Explorers
The Explorer ship has better hyperdrive and stealth technology
Science
Science ships have better scanning capabilities and advanced technologies.
Strategy Guide/Tips
- Ships will have unique Cockpits that display info on the ship and the environment.
- You are not limited to a single class of ship. You can buy a new ship and change class.
- There are several prototypes of each type of ship, leading to a good variety of ships.
