Wood Elf is a Race in The Elder Scrolls series. Also known as Bosmer.
The clanfolk of the Western Valenwood forests, also known as "Bosmer". Wood elves make good scouts and thieves, and there are no finer archers in all of Tamriel. They have natural resistances to both poisons and diseases. They can command animals to fight for them.
Starting Skill bonuses in Skyrim:

Racial Abilities[edit]
Command Animal : Make an animal an ally for 60 seconds.
Resist Disease and Poison: Your Bosmer blood gives you 50% resistance to poison and disease..
