Meet the Ebony Warrior at the Last Vigil during The Ebony Warrior in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dragonborn.

"Meet the Ebony Warrior at the Last Vigil" is an objective in the side quest "The Ebony Warrior" in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dragonborn.

Walkthrough[edit]

Prepare by stocking up with all the potions you can. Upgrade your equipment, especially your armor, to the absolute best that you have in your possession. This is going to be one of the hardest fights in the game. The Last Vigil is found in the Southeastern corner of Skyrim itself, up in the mountains.

Make your way up the mountain to the Last Vigil. You will find the Ebony Warrior. They will wait for you to draw your weapon and give you the first attack. Anything that you can use to boost this initial damage will help you a lot.

Fighting the Ebony Warrior[edit]

Meet the Ebony Warrior at the Last Vigil - The Ebony Warrior

Arguably one of the hardest enemies that you will encounter during your playthrough of Skyrim. He is immune to all forms of paralysis, Vampiric Grip, Ice Form and Bend Will and have very high magic resistances. He will not be thrown around by the Cyclone shout, but he will still take health damage. With the armor he has, there will always be a low level of health regeneration going on. He can take falling damage but the drop needs to immediately be followed up by an attack for the damage to register. The attack you will need to worry about the most is his Unrelenting Force shout. Being on a mountainside, you can be thrown off it and hurl a long ways, possibly to your death.

Bring along a companion for this fight. It makes things a bit easier with a second person there to occasionally draw the Ebony Warrior's attention if you need to renew a protection spell.
